Cybersecurity Best Practices: Uncovering the Basics of Securing Smart Cities
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Connected Communities Initiative (CCI) invites you to attend a webinar titled, “Cybersecurity Best Practices: Uncovering the Basics of Securing Smart Cities.” The webinar will cover the key content from the Cybersecurity Best Practices for Smart Cities Guide, developed in collaboration with CISA, the National Security Agency (NSA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the United Kingdom National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-UK), the Australian Cybersecurity Centre (ACSC), the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS), and the New Zealand National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-NZ). The guide provides an in-depth overview of the cybersecurity risks faced by smart cities as they integrate connected technologies into their critical infrastructure. Key risks addressed include an expanded and interconnected attack surface, vulnerabilities in the information and communications technology supply chain, and the increasing automation of infrastructure operations. The also provides best practices to mitigate against these risks.
