SAFECOM Updates Enhance Virtual Outreach to Emergency Communications Stakeholders

SAFECOM is a dynamic organization that is constantly adapting to the ever-changing emergency communications ecosystem. To share recent developments with the public safety community, SAFECOM has updated its Introduction to SAFECOM presentation. The presentation provides stakeholders with information on SAFECOM’s history, goals, and structure. The updated elements of this presentation include background on the structural changes SAFECOM has made to address current topics like cybersecurity, encryption, and information sharing; the creation of the SAFECOM Executive Board, and tips for facilitating stakeholder outreach engagements in today’s virtual environment.
