The "Pathway to Violence" factsheet and video provides information regarding the behavior indicators that assailants often demonstrate before a violent act. Behavior experts reference research conducted by Frederick Calhoun and Steve Weston on threat management which describes a general model to explain how and why incidents of targeted violence occur and offers a useful framework for identifying, preventing, and managing the threat.
