CISA’s Office of the Chief Economist (OCE) is a team of economists within CISA’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer with expertise in economic analysis across the various analytic methods and fields recognized by the American Economic Association (AEA). OCE’s current and recent projects span applications in both regulatory and non-regulatory economic analysis, including the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), cybersecurity, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), 5G, Global Positioning System (GPS), and soft target security.
