The National Cyber Incident Response Plan (NCIRP) Update Public Comment Draft offers the public an opportunity to provide their knowledge and experiences on the NCIRP. The NCIRP details a national approach to coordinating cyber incident detection and response. 

 CISA conducted extensive collaboration with public and private organizations and federal agencies to build upon the NCIRP since its initial publication in 2016. The public comment period begins today and concludes on January 15, 2025. 

 During the comment period, members of the public are asked to provide comments and feedback via the Federal Register.
