Bridgewater State University Cyber Assessment Services

Through Bridgewater State University’s (BSU) bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, in addition to their federally-funded partnership with CyberTrust Massachusetts, BSU is providing much needed technical support to local businesses and municipalities, which often lack the staffing and funding to protect themselves against cyberattacks.

BSU is currently providing free cybersecurity assessments to municipalities and other under-resourced organizations in Massachusetts while providing students hands-on, real world cybersecurity experience. BSU’s on-campus Security Operations Center (SOC) which is slated to launch in 2024, will offer 24/7 federally subsidized support to organizations in need. Additionally, BSU’s Cyber Range serves as a resource to the community for municipalities, government agencies, or outside organizations hoping to renew certifications and qualifications. 

Request Services and Volunteer

• Criteria to Request Services:
  • Municipalities, non-profits, small businesses, and other under-funded organizations in Massachusetts may receive support.  
• Request Services:
  • Organizations can request services through a form or via email inquiry.  
• Criteria to Volunteer: 
  • Must be a BSU student. 
• Apply to Volunteer: 
  • Students can apply to volunteer by completing a form or submitting an email inquiry.
