Evaluates federal entity's cybersecurity incident management and response capabilities against a benchmark of leading practices. Conducted by CISA SMEs with results informed by knowledge of the entire federal enterprise, the assessment uses a well-defined methodology where results can be compared across time as well as between departments and agencies. Assessment results include development and sustainment activities that provide insight to typically ignored areas.
