Description
In conjunction with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center, the Louisiana State University (LSU) Cybersecurity Clinic is helping to raise the cybersecurity baseline for small businesses by offering pro-bono cybersecurity services. This initiative, which was funded by the National Security Agency’s (NSA’s) $1.5 million (USD) Education Initiative grant, is part of a broader effort to strengthen cybersecurity education through experiential learning. This broader effort also aims to concurrently improve the cyber resilience of the local business community—which is often disproportionately impacted by cyber threats due to limited resources and cybersecurity expertise. The clinic’s overarching mission is its commitment to providing accessible, high-quality cybersecurity assistance that addresses the specific needs and challenges faced by small businesses. Through a combination of seminars, direct consultations, and comprehensive cybersecurity assessments, the clinic helps businesses adopt and implement practical and effective cybersecurity measures.
Services provided: Cyber Assessment Services, Counseling, and Small Business Seminar Series.
