Description
The Wisconsin Cyber Response Team (CRT) is a volunteer emergency response group comprised of cybersecurity and information technology professionals that are prepared to respond to cyber incidents targeting Wisconsin’s critical infrastructure, including school districts.
Services provided: Cyber assessment services and incident response services.
Request Services and Volunteer
- Criteria to Request Services:
- Organizations that qualify for services include Wisconsin state critical infrastructure and public sector or non-profit organizations.
- Request Services:
- Report a cyber incident to the Wisconsin Emergency Management Watch Desk at 1-800-943-0003, option 2.
- Apply for “general” membership for information sharing.
- Criteria to Volunteer:
- Experience in all areas of cybersecurity preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery.
- Willingness to volunteer to serve public-sector entities.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Must commit to at least two quarterly cybersecurity training programs.
- Must sign a non-disclosure agreement.
- Must provide an annual registration update.
