The affected product does not properly sanitize input while processing a specific project file, allowing a possible stack-based buffer overflow condition.

An anonymous researcher working with Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative reported these vulnerabilities to CISA.
4. MITIGATIONS
Delta Electronics has released an updated version of CNCSoft and recommends users update to v1.01.32 or later.

- Only use project files from trusted sources.
- Do not click web links or open unsolicited attachments in email messages.
