ChemLock: Security Awareness Course
Description

This ChemLock training course helps employees at all levels of an organization understand the risk of dangerous chemicals, their responsibility in protecting dangerous chemicals from malicious actors, and what to do when they recognize potential threats.
This interactive, practical, no-cost course runs approximately 1 hour in length and is appropriate for personnel at all levels of an organization regardless of their security expertise or involvement with dangerous chemicals.
Course Topics
Importance of chemical security
- Identify previous attacks that used dangerous chemicals
- Recognize threats against a facility that has dangerous chemicals
Signs of terrorism
- Identify the eight typical signs of terrorism
- Describe common threats
Threats and attacks
- Identify the dangers of chemical attack consequences
- Understand types of attacks and threats that could occur at chemical facilities
Personnel role and responsibility for mitigating these threats
- Identify actions to protect facilities from physical, cyber, and insider threats
- Understand how to identify and report suspicious behavior and incidents
