NFPA 704 Safety Diamond – CISA Chemical SRMA Informational Webinar

The NFPA 704 Safety Diamond – CISA Chemical SRMA Informational Webinar is a foundational voluntary training that provides an overview of the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 704, the standard system for the identification of the hazards and materials for emergency response. Participants will be able to identify the meaning of each of the 4 quadrants/colors of the NFPA diamond as well as the severity level indicated by the number within each quadrant. This training will allow participants to review and identify categories of hazards and materials in buildings by recognition of the NFPA 704 diamond meaning. Awareness of the NFPA 704 system enhances chemical sector facility safety, security, and resilience while mitigating risk by enhancing awareness of owners and operators, staff, contractors, and emergency response community members of the potential chemical hazards within a building.
