The Security and Resilience for Bombing Incidents Course assists in planning and implementing Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) activities within overall public safety and emergency management approaches for organizations and communities. It covers common C-IED-specific security and resiliency goals to build bombing prevention capabilities at the organizational/jurisdictional level. 

This four-hour Instructor-Led Training (ILT) covers the following topics:

  • Considerations needed when analyzing current bombing prevention capabilities
  • Sustainment actions or corrective actions for capability gaps
  • C-IED preparedness resources available

Certifications & Accreditations

The Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to award Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for this course: 0.4 CEU.
